Some aromatic plants and products may have a historical use of folkloric nature, but we offer this product as incense and/or botanical curiosa; neither food grade, for consumption nor medical use, unless other is stated. This means that you should contact your doctor even though, for example, frankincense have been used during the Middle Ages as a remedy for bubonic plague. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. The long-term use of tobacco snuff is unknown and should therefore be used with this in mind.

Contents
This special mixture is composed by many sacred herbs and plants, including ashes of the Tsunu (Platycyamus regnellii) tree bark and mapacho. Tsunu is often also used for healing purposes by the Yawanawá, either before taking ayahuasca, enhancing the effects and opening the spirit for the ceremony, or it is applied during intense ceremonial experiences, easing the vomiting and cleansing. Furthermore, through the high content of alkaline ashes, it is an especially cleansing Rapé with strong effects on mental, emotional, and physical areas.

About the tribe
The Yawanawá, or the tribe of the white-lipped peccary, are a small tribe of 1,300 people, living remotely in only a few villages along the Gregório River. They are known as warriors, as they always keep on fighting, even in hard times. At some point in history their tribe was almost extinct, with only about 300 members left. Nowadays their tribe has grown again, and their traditions and knowledge have been conserved in a very strict way. The Yawanawá were the first tribe that initiated a woman to become a shaman, setting a huge example in the history of shamans.
In their language rapé is called Rume, and the Yawanawá preferably blend Rume with Tsunu ashes and mapacho, which gives this special blend a very refined taste. In addition, Tsunu is used for healing purposes and has a supportive role during ayahuasca ceremonies.
