Around her neck she wears a mala necklace with 108 human skulls, representing the heads of egos she cut off with her sword so that the truth behind the egos facades, barricades and illusions can appear. Simply put, one can say that her terrible apparition is perceived by the ego, but after a dance with this goddess and one's pettiness has been crushed, she appears in her most loving and caring attire.
